Book Series Challenge: Question #6
- What is your favorite quote, and which book is it in?
To make this a little easier for myself I’m going to chose one quote from every book.
SoTB (this is a passage, but I love it as a whole so I’m going to type the whole thing.)- “Blanche was in a daze as they walked back to their seats, but still exhilarated. He (Bear) had kissed her. One the forehead, well, sure, but it was a kiss. Her first. And she had never danced like that before. She felt a lightness inside, as though all of her dark angry thoughts had spun away with that miraculous dance.”
Black As Night- “He crossed himself. So God, about this priesthood thing… He began.”
Waking Rose- Fish: “So what do you want me to do? Sweep you into my arms and kiss you? Rose: “Would you?”
Midnight Dancers (another passage.)- ” Wasting time. She looked up at him, and saw Paul as he sat on the swimming rock, the day he told her the story about the toys, his eyes hard. ‘A smart man doesn’t waste time.’”

THERE IS THIS BOY WHO LOOKS SO MUCH LIKE BEAR.
I go to a big high school, so I tend to meet new people everyday. Well, in my study hall I noticed a boy who happens to look just like BEAR. Oh. My. GOODNESS.
He has short brown-blackish hair and his face looks just like the guy on the Shadow Of The Bear cover.
I wish I knew who he was but sadly I don’t. I wonder if he has a personality like Bears. That would be so cool!
So, have any of you seen a person who reminded you of one of the characters? Whether it be in looks, personality, or such?
Book Series Challenge: Question #5
- What is your favorite character introduction? How was he/she introduced and why is it your favorite?
I would have to say that moment in **SHADOW OF THE BEAR when Rose was playing her violin in the park and Fish said “Bravo.” I knew from that moment we would be seeing more of him in the future with Rose (And I was right!) Why is it my favorite? I liked the way he joked around about being a shady character, because we all know he’s far from it. I enjoy his sense of humor most of the time. I also liked how he was acting all mysterious, it made me very curious to know more about him.
